Mr. Prete was the Project Manager & Engineer of Record for the preparation of the Avery Centre Preliminary Water & Wastewater Analysis.  The scope included the preparation of water models using Haestads Water Cad for the analysis of the distribution system for a +/- 600 acre development.  Through the analysis, water line sizes were determined and pressure reducing valves were located to define the appropriate service levels (pressure plains) within the development area.  Additionally, a wastewater analysis was performed to evaluate the effects of the proposed development on the capacity of the existing wastewater interceptor.

Mr. Waeltz was the Project Manager and Engineer of Record for the preparation of construction documents and construction administration for this project.  The scope of work for the project included design, bidding, and construction administration services.  The wastewater design included the analysis of existing and future demands within the contributing basin, preparation of a TCEQ compliant Sewerage Collection System Plan, SWPPP, traffic control plans, boring and jacking under HWY 79 and the Union Pacific Railroad ( including the appropriate TXDOT and Union Pacific Railroad permitting), and the design of two inverted siphons under Chandler Creek.

Mr. Waeltz was the Project Manager and Engineer of Record for the preparation of construction documents for this project.  The scope of this project included design, bidding, & construction administration services.  The wastewater design included the analysis of the contributing basin, projection of LUE’s for the contributing basin, preparation of plans and construction documents, preparation of a TCEQ compliant Sewerage Collection System Plan, SWPPP, traffic control plan, boring and jacking an 18 inch wastewater line under IH 35, and included TXDOT permitting.  Line sizes within the project varied from 12” thru 24”.  The project also required the preparation and acquisition of easements through Austin White Lime property as well as other various private properties along Lake Creek.

FM 1325 Austin/Round Rock Waterline Interconnect- 1995 ($1.5 M +/-)

This project included design, bidding, construction administration services.  The design included the preparation of construction plans for a 24” water line beginning at Shoreline Drive and extending northward along F.M. 1325 and C.R. 172, then to the existing elevated water storage tank in Chisholm Valley.  The design included master meters, backflow preventers, insulated boxes for the backflow preventers in accordance with City of Austin specifications, and the boring and jacking of a 24 inch line under FM 1325.  Also included was the permitting of the project through the City of Austin, TxDot, TCEQ, and the City of Round Rock.   

Old Settler’s Park 12” Wastewater line - 2003 ($350,000 +/-)

This project provided the wastewater line to service the Rock’n River Water Park and the restroom facilities at the soccer fields within Old Settlers Park.  The design included the capacity analysis for the wastewater line sizing, wastewater manhole spacing, concrete retards and an aerial creek crossing.  Mr. Bill Waeltz was the Project Manager and Engineer of Record.  Mr. Prete was the project engineer.  The scope of services included design, bidding, and construction administration services.
