Construction vehicles on a dirt road

Roadway and Infrastructure Engineering

Roadway projects must balance traffic operations, pavement performance, drainage, utilities, access, construction sequencing, and public impact. Waeltz & Prete provides practical roadway and infrastructure design for municipal, county, commercial, industrial, and development-related projects.

Pavement Preservation and Rehabilitation

For smaller roadway assignments, the appropriate treatment may include localized repair, full-depth reconstruction, milling, asphalt overlay, or seal coat. We coordinate treatment limits, transitions, drainage effects, shoulders, pavement markings, traffic control, quantities, specifications, and construction considerations with the owner’s maintenance objectives and available pavement information.

Constructability Matters

A roadway plan must account for how traffic, residents, businesses, utilities, emergency access, and drainage will function during construction. We consider sequencing and temporary conditions during design, so the final documents are more useful to the owner and contractor.
